The Corkman
is proudly owned by Kieran O'Connell from Country Cork and Chris
Fitzgerald from Balranald. Both Kieran and Chris have a 25 year
history of playing music together. Both have played in reputable
bands over the years such as Shanakee and Highland Paddy! The boys
can still be heard playing at the Corkman on 'special occasions'
(e.g. St Patricks Day) and every first Sunday of the month from
2.30pm to 6.00pm. They will quite often be seen at the Thursday
Night Irish session with the maestro of the accordian Mr Paddy
Fitzgerald. The session is open to all Musicians who want to come
along and join in for the craic, irrespective of whether you are a
beginner or professional - all are welcome at the
Corkman!

The Corkman Irish Pub is a Unique and Cosy Irish Pub, with a warm,
friendly welcoming atmosphere. You can come in by yourself for a
drink and still have a great time! Our focus is on friendliness,
superior quality food and drinks and excellent service. We are one
of the few Irish pubs in Melbourne that's actually owned and
operated by Irish people (No Plastic Paddys here!).
